Our company has built a unique production cycle that allows us to produce cables and wires with the least environmental impact by collecting scrap and copper waste and further processing into a first-class cathodes with a copper content of 99.99% ECG copper cathodes which are the basic material for our wires and cables has 0,270 kg CO₂ equivalents per ton.

We are proud that the carbon footprint of our copper cathodes is 93 % below the global average (3,800 kg CO₂) for all copper smelters and refiners.

In 2022, even with the war in Ukraine, ECG group companies go on to produce and provide partners, which made it possible to make a significant contribution to the country’s economy. Over the past year, taxes and fees totaling UAH 208 million were paid, which indicates a serious responsibility and decency in doing business.

The companies of the ECG group also achieved significant revenues from exports in excess of 50 million euros. This shows the high reputation of Ukrainian manufacturers and increases the image of Ukraine as a reliable partner.

Taking a strong and proactive position, ECG supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The group’s companies donated more than UAH 8 million to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, volunteer and
humanitarian organizations, as well as given 20 units of automotive equipment for the needs of the military. More than 100 employees voluntarily went to defend our state, where they defend the freedoms and independence of a free Ukraine.
