Our company has built a unique production cycle that allows us to produce cables and wires with the least environmental impact by collecting scrap and copper waste and further processing into a first-class cathodes with a copper content of 99.99% ECG copper cathodes which are the basic material for our wires and cables has 0,270 kg CO₂ equivalents per ton.

We are proud that the carbon footprint of our copper cathodes is 93 % below the global average (3,800 kg CO₂) for all copper smelters and refiners.

In 2023, despite the war in Ukraine, the companies of the Electro Cable Group continued to manufacture and supply partners with high-quality cable and wire products, making a significant contribution to Ukraine’s economy. Over the past year, taxes and duties totalling UAH 245 million were paid, confirming the company’s status as a conscientious taxpayer and a socially responsible business.

The ECG Group companies also achieved an increase in foreign exchange earnings from product exports exceeding EUR 65 million. This demonstrates the high level of trust from our EU customers and enhances Ukraine’s image as a reliable and high-quality partner. For the second year in a row, in 2023, Electro Cable Group was included in Forbes Ukraine’s ranking of the TOP 200 Largest Companies in Ukraine.

Taking a strong and proactive stance, ECG supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2022, the group’s companies have donated more than UAH 23 million to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the provision of 30 vehicles for the needs of Ukraine’s defence forces. UAH 1 million was transferred to restore the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital, which suffered damage from the enemy attack. More than 120 employees have joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine to defend our nation, standing for the Freedom and Independence of Ukraine and the European future of our children!
